Scope:
Wayfinding Implementation Management
Year:
2005

Originally built in the 1950’s, the Northern and Southern Jubilee Auditoriums are devoted to providing “a place of celebration where community spirit and cultural enrichment thrive.” In 2005, after the completion of an extended design phase, Jubilee engaged Cygnus to manage the implementation of their wayfinding and signage program. The project team faced the reality of meeting very short timelines in order to deliver the project in time for the simultaneous grand openings of the renovated Auditoriums in both Calgary and Edmonton.  Through a well-managed procurement and implementation process, the team was successful in delivering the project within budget and on schedule.

In 1996, TELUS launched its new brand, which initiated a signage project to change existing [signage and wayfinding] throughout all applicable TELUS facilities. The Cygnus team was congratulated as they met the challenges ‘head-on’ and helped to make this a very successful project.
