The Bow, owned by H&R Reit, is the new headquarters for Encana and Cenovus Energy. It is a stunning 58-storey addition to Calgary’s skyline and is the first office tower of its kind in North America. The tower’s design by Foster + Partners, is centered around people, team communication, collaboration and interaction. The project team placed great emphasis on the quality of the visitor experience throughout all aspects of the tower’s design, including wayfinding. Cygnus was selected to provide signage and wayfinding services. The scope of work included the design and implementation of all building signage for interior and exterior spaces, the parkade, and +15 network. Working closely with the prime consultant team, Cygnus was successful in delivering the project on time and within budget. As a separate project, Cygnus was also selected to provide signage implementation services for Encana’s tenant spaces. The project scope included all office signage and fire evacuation maps throughout the tower, as well as identification signage, dimensional logos, vinyl and large format graphics.
